Welcome to my corner! I’m Megan Majocha, a scientist by day and a creative enthusiast by night. I earned my PhD in Tumor Biology from Georgetown and the National Institutes of Health. My science journey began with a simple yet profound question: “why?” I recall asking my parents that question to get an explanation for everything.
My PhD was focused on breast cancer metastasis. I spent most of my time trying to understand the complex metastatic behavior. But let’s be real, science isn’t all pipettes and petri dishes. When I’m not peering through a microscope, you’ll find me refinishing furniture, cuddling with my furry duo, tending to my green leafy friends, taking photographs of whatever captures my eye, whipping up some sweet treats in the kitchen, or diving into a good book.
Join me on this journey, where curiosity knows no bounds.
